This year the festival is held in three stages. On April 17th, 2018, the winners of the university tour went to the Zhukovsky Palace of Culture to take part in the competitions of the regional stage - "Student Spring of the Moscow Region - 2018".

In the dance contest the student of social and humanitarian department of the master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics Kristina Zdanevich with the choreographic composition "Tenderness" made a speech.

The student of the design department Veronika Levina took part in the musical contest with the author’s song "To united", symbolically choosing the colors of the Russian tricolor in a suit.

In the nomination "Variety Vocal" students Ekaterina Gruznitskaya (faculty of arts and crafts and design) with the composition "My Russia" Karina Ivn, Anna Baranova (department of culture and art) with the song "Cosmos" Kristina Si and Victoria Kurnoskina (design department) with the song "Mother’s Lament" by Evgeniya Kolpakova.

The students of the department of culture and art Anastasia Kuibedina, Anastasia Lashneva, Arkady Kharatyan, Irina Bazhina, Maria Zhevaykina, Silvia Ciobanu, Elizaveta Prygunkova, Pavel Khabarov, Irina Eremina, who prepared an excerpt from the performance "Scarecrow" took part in the theatrical direction. The students of the department of culture and art Kirill Lobachev, Maria Baryshnikova, Alexander Vostokov, Alina Voyta, Anna Surkova, Alina Orlova, Galina Karpikova, Alexander Perkov, Marina German, Anna Baranova, Olesya Leshnevskaya showed the literary and musical composition "This World". In the nomination "Art word" also the students of the department of culture and art: Tikhon Somov - with the author’s poem "To Be Strong", Olesya Leshnevskaya - with the poem "Destiny of the Country" Eduard Asadov, Elizaveta Prygunkova - with the poem "White Waltz" by Vladimir Vysotsky.

A student of arts and crafts and design, Alina Gornostayeva, took part in the direction of Journalism, she was instructed to make a video about the festival "Student Spring of the Moscow Region - 2018". After completing the work, she shared her impression:

"Student Spring" is an opportunity to show oneself, to go beyond the usual framework. Tikhon and I shot a video about the festival for the contest. It was a pleasant experience, the participants treated our requests with kindness and humor. Everyone is keen on a common cause and ready to help each other. I liked bright, memorable costumes and shows. I love festivals for the opportunity to get unique emotions and experience! " One more opinion:

"A long wait for the appearance on the stage threatened to spoil everything. But the performance, in my opinion, was successful. I managed to get to know and talk with interesting people. In general, the impression is good, "says Veronika Levina, a student of the design department.

It remains only to wait for the decision of the jury, which will be known in the near future. Our students adequately presented the university at the festival and hope to win!

Gala concert "Student Spring of the Moscow Region" will be held on April 26th in the concert hall of the Government House of the Moscow Region. The festival’s winners and Russian pop stars will take part in the festive concert.

Laureates of the regional festival will participate in the All-Russian festival "Russian Student Spring", which will be held in Stavropol.
