On May 29th, 2018, the International Festival of Children’s, Youth and Student Creativity "The Blue Bird of Gzhel-2018" was closed and the ceremony of presentation of certificates and prizes to laureates and diplomats of the festival in the nominations "Artistic Word", "Literary-Musical Composition", "Theatrical Creativity", "Musical Performance", "Vocal Art", "Choreography".

More than 150 foreign guests took part in the festival, some of them were able to visit this holiday. A group of students from Matusovsky Luhansk State Academy of Culture and Arts, with whom Gzhel University signed a cooperation agreement, was led by the teacher G. Yu. Goryanitsyna. Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University was represented by R. Sh. Khalilov, head of the department of fine arts and methods of teaching at the faculty of professional education.

After the presentation of the awards, the guests were invited to get acquainted with the activities of GSU, it Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts and training workshops. It was interesting for everyone to try their hand at the master class on Gzhel painting. R. Sh. Khalilov met with the dean of the decorative and applied art and design G.P. Moskovskaya to discuss the prospects for cooperation between universities in the field of art and culture.

The geography of the festival "The Blue Bird of Gzhel" is expanding every year, and the joint scientific and creative activity of the university with foreign educational institutions is also developing.
