From July 9th to July 13th, 2018 students of the faculty of arts, crafts and design Ekaterina Bordushevich and Ksenia Vasilyeva took part in the first shift of the VI Moscow regional youth forum “I am a citizen of the Moscow region”, which takes place at the recreation center “Lyublyana” in Yegoryevsky district.

This year, the forum program has been changed: the participants in each shift are engaged in six educational areas: “ART Cluster”, “Civic Engagement”, Business Camp, “MEDIA Sphere”, LIFEstyle and “#ImavolunteerofMR”. All these areas could be visited by each forum participant. Of course, we took advantage of this opportunity, but the main focus was on the “ART cluster”. Our mentor was N. O. Shiraliyeva, adviser of Moscow region governor for culture, the leader of the Culture TV channel. The master class in painting by Elizaveta Zalegina was also impressive. An artist and teacher, the author of the books “Painting. Methodical recommendations "," Academic drawing and reality ", she is engaged in the development of methods of teaching drawing and painting. It was very interesting, especially since pedagogical activity along with its own creativity is one of the real prospects for graduates of our faculty, besides, there are four children’s art schools at the university, whose students successfully participate in all-Russian and international festivals and competitions.

In addition, we attended lectures by the expert of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, trainer-technologist of educational programs, Victoria Melnikova, and the business coach of VimpelCom, psychologist-consultant Nikita Parichuk, “On emotions, or How to negotiate with the most“ heated interlocutor ”.

Pavel Kachelli, record holder of the project “The Longest Freestyle - Improvisation in the Style of Rep), the semifinalist of the project “Minute of Glory”, on the first channel of television, spoke on the theme“: Creative thinking in the works”.

Reliable team and support of the curator - the most important thing for effective training. The forum was interesting and intense; many interesting people gathered at it. For us it was an opportunity to replenish knowledge, to communicate with experts and peers. Ljubljana is a beautiful place, our tent camp is located on the shore of a picturesque forest lake, it was impossible to resist drawing sketches of this landscape. In the afternoon we were engaged, and in the evening we gathered around the campfire on the shore of the lake - talked, sang songs with a guitar.

That was probably the best adventure of this summer!
