From July 10th to July 20th, 2018, the university received students and teachers from Grozny.

The purpose of the visit of representatives of the Chechen State Pedagogical University is acquaintance with the activities of the GSU and summer practice - classes in which guests studied pottery and Gzhel painting.

The delegation was headed by a state authorized expert on cultural values (archeology, visual arts and decorative arts) in the North Caucasus Federal District, chairman of the Union of Restorers of Russia in the Chechen Republic, senior lecturer of visual and decorative arts department of the faculty of arts of Chechen Pedagogical University I. I. Mutuskhanov.

The practice program was intense: the students got acquainted with traditional Gzhel ceramics, tried their hand at work on the pottery machine, mastered the basic techniques of painting with cobalt.

The cultural program was also varied. On July 10th, a tour of Moscow took place. Chechen students first visited the capital of Russia and were greatly impressed by what they saw. Acquaintance with Moscow began with the metro, then the guests visited the Red Square. The culmination of the tour was a visit to the State Tretyakov Gallery.

On July 14, students and teachers of the Chechen Pedagogical University became acquainted with Russian traditions and customs, the history of Gzhel folk art at the festival of Slavic art "Bereginya Ramenya", which took place in the Novokharitonovsky rural settlement. They participated in master classes, tried dishes of Russian national cuisine.

On July 19th, a trip to Likino-Dulyovo and an excursion to Dulevo Porcelain Factory took place. In the museum of the plant, they learned about its history and saw a lot of samples of previously manufactured products.

The experience was a success; it was decided to expand the cooperation of our universities in discussing the results of the trip.
