On July 27th, 2018, students and teachers of GSU took an active part in the Open Day of the Moscow Region, organized at the VI Regional Forum "I am a citizen of the Moscow Region - 2018". In Yegoryevsk, at the recreation center "Ljubljana" a "personnel platform" opened, which was filled that day by representatives of all districts of the Moscow region, demonstrating the possibilities of training and employing young people.

The Ramensky District presented the only federal educational institution at Moscow Region - Gzhel State University and such enterprises as the Ramensky Instrument Engineering Design Bureau, the Ramensky Instrument Engineering Plant, Gzhel Amalgamation.

The participants of the Day of Open Doors focused on the exhibition of ceramics by students of the college and university: sculpture of Elizaveta Sazonova “Northern Lights” (chamotte), decorative vases of Alina Kharitonova “Color of dogrose” (porcelain), tableware from Maria Schukina “Singing birds” and others. A beautiful addition to the ceramic works was the painting: the painting “The Gifts of Autumn” by Svetlana Kachalova, “Still Life” by Anastasia Akimenko, “Winter Evening” by Anna Akimova, “Remembrance of Yoshkar-Ola” by Alexandra Mosunova.

A graduate of 2017, and today - a teacher at GSU college M. K. Belous, conducted a master class. Maria taught those who wanted to paint the traditional Gzhel flower. Senior Methodist of the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Art and Design I.N. Belousova together with second-year students of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Education Nikita Fedotov and Pavel Poznyak organized career guidance.

Open Day at Ljubljana was held in the framework of the educational form "I am a citizen of the Moscow region - 2018". GSU students participate in every change of the forum, for the final third-year student of the construction department Timofey Nagornev, third-year students of the faculty of decorative and applied art and design Ekaterina Bordushevich and Ksenia Vasilyeva, second-year student of the design department Ekaterina Biryukova as well as graduates of the GSU Tikhon Somov and Dmitry Dyadichenko.

A large team of creative people, who adequately represented Gzhel University, gathered at the staffing site of the university.
