On October 9th, 2018, a videoconference of teachers of Gzhel University for specialists of the Republican educational and methodical center for advanced training of cultural workers and teachers of additional education in Donetsk was held.

The event was preceded by the appeal of the director of the center A. N. Yakovenko to GSU rector, prof. B.V. Ilkevich. As part of «Russia-Donbass» integration program, she suggested organizing seminars, conferences, discussions, and other collaborative work via video link.

Teachers of the Department of Fine Arts and Folk Artistic Culture took part in the video conference. Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Honored Artist of Russia G. P. Moskovskaya, opening the conference, stressed the importance of advanced training for specialists in the arts, culture and education of the Donetsk People`s Republic, intercultural cooperation, strengthening partnerships at the international level.

The event was designed for teachers of institutions of additional education, heads of studios, circles of arts and crafts and visual arts. On the part of the Republican educational and methodical center for advanced training of cultural workers, teachers of additional education, more than twenty specialists took part in it, who with great attention and interest treated the proposed lecture-practical course plan.

A lecture on the “Classification of Fine Arts” was presented by Associate Professor of the Department of Decorative and Applied Art and Design I. V. Shtankina. She highlighted the main stages of the development of art, its types and trends in all available genres. The lecture was voluminous, with a demonstration of beautiful slides of works of artists of various directions.

The master class “Development of pupils` creative abilities through drawing” was conducted by E. N. Olshanskaya, senior teacher of the same department. In her speech she demonstrated both her own graphic work and the work of children of primary school age and the university in order to implement a technique based on art therapy.

At the end of the videoconference, the head of the Department of Fine Arts and Folk Artistic Culture, Candidate of Philosophy, Professor, O. B. Myshlyaeva, held a master class on “Associativity and Transformation of Still Life in the Process of Preparing Specialists in the Field of Decorative and Applied Art and Design”.

At the final stage of the conference, G.P. Moskovskaya expressed the wish to continue the professional communication of colleagues from educational and cultural institutions of Donetsk and GSU, which can serve as a guarantee of friendship and cooperation.
