On October 25th, 2018, students of the departments of design and construction and computer science of GSU College, accompanied by teachers, visited an exhibition of design works organized as part of the III All-Russian Festival " Urban space: a view of future city planners."
This year, students from 35 colleges from 16 Russian regions participated in the festival. The Gzhel University College presented the final qualification works of design department students Anastasia Khan, Maria Punko, Irina Reznova, Galina Penkina and Lyubov Poltoretskaya at the exhibition “Urban space: a view of future city planners”.
All of them repeatedly participated in various international festivals and competitions. For example, Anastasia Khan is known at the university as the winner of the international exhibition-competition “Russian ART WEEK”, the international festivals “Blue Bird of Gzhel”, “Art Ceramics”, “Festos”, “Maistar” (Gomel). Maria Punko took the first place in the open regional competition “Maistar” (Gomel), participated in exhibitions of educational and creative works of the design department, in international festivals “Artistic Ceramics”, “Blue Bird of Gzhel” and others. Irina Reznova became the winner of the international exhibition-competition “Russian ART WEEK”, successfully participated in the international festivals “Art Ceramics”, “Blue Bird of Gzhel”, etc.
The projects of our students, presented at the exhibition of the III All-Russian festival "Urban space: a view of future city planners" (heads A.V. Korolev and A. A. Karpova), were rated as "excellent" at the state final certification. Visitors to the exhibition showed special interest in them.
President of the Union of Designers of Russia V. V. Stavitsky, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Designers of the Moscow Region I. K. Mashkov, Deputy Head of the Architectural Council of Moscow S. A. Glubokin and others spoke in the business program of the festival. Students got acquainted with the history of urban planning, in one of the exhibition halls with the help of outdoor light box met with photos of old Moscow and with unusual perspectives of the modern metropolis.
Guests of the festival on this day were representatives not only from educational institutions, but also from architectural and design organizations and enterprises. From communication with them, students could get an idea of the needs of the labor market and the requirements for specialists.
