29th of June, 2015 the University was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of El Salvador Miss Claudia Kanhura de Centeno and Mr. Yuri Pavel Santa Cruz, Minister and Counsellor.
At production workshops they met the artists-ceramists from Panchimalko, Mario Eduardo Vega Lopez, Humberto Orlando Vasquez Daniel Elias Campos Ramos and Ronal Adilio Vasces Guzman held in GSU training program "Production and painting of art pottery". The guests saw the final phase of the implementation of individual projects – decorating products and preparation for firing. Miss said that each work has its own originality and reflects the love of Salvadorans to the history and culture of their country.
At a meeting with G.P. Moskovskaya, Dean of Faculty for Design, Arts and Сrafts and Honored Artist of Russia, Miss Claudia Kanhura de Centeno discussed the future of training young artists through master programs in GSU. This could be a new page in the cooperation, which has been actively developing between our countries in the field of culture and education. In 2014, Salvadorans have actively participated in the VI International Festival "The Artistic Ceramics". Then there was signed a cooperation agreement with the foundation of the famous artist Fernando Llort and a three-lateral agreement between Gzhel State University, the Town Council of Panchimalko and the administration of Gzhel settlement, so in connection with it in November 2014, there was a visit to the University of El Salvador.
There will be a lot of the new cooperation projects ahead.
