On April 15th, 2019, the All-Russian Scientific Conference “Actual Problems of Economics and Management” was held at GSU.

The conference was attended by students and lecturers of Faculty of Economics and Management, including: head of Economics and Finance Chair V.V. Blekus; Professor V. D. Kuzmenkova; lecturer S. K. Vigdergauz; head of Management Theory and Organization Chair O. V. Borisova; Associate Professor V. G. Gadetsky; lecturer K.A. Ermakov.

Dean of Faculty of Economics and Management O. V. Borisova drew attention to the fact that 45 articles were submitted for participation in the conference, including four articles from other Russian universities.

Discussing topical issues, students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of GSU studied theoretical material and tried to study problems in the economic and managerial field from a practical standpoint. Scientific reports on the presented articles were notable for novelty, detailed substantiation of the subject of the research. An example of such an approach is the article of the first-year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management Egor Logunov, “The Impact of Student Temporary Income on the State Budget of the Country”, the article of fourth-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management Alena Zhukova and Ekaterina Levchenko “Electronic checks as the basis of modern business” focused on the urgency of social problems, provided detailed statistics and photo reports, suggested practical measures. For example, Maria Roznova, a second-year student at the Faculty of Economics and Management, in her work “Ecological problems of economics on the example of Moscow Region”, necessitated the rejection of the construction of waste incineration plants in Moscow Region.

The joint work on articles, such as third-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management Yakov Zhushev and Alina Koryakina, who made a report on the article “Innovative technologies in public administration” deserves attention.

All those who spoke at the conference received souvenirs from the organizers, and the winners received diplomas. The first degree diploma was awarded to undergraduate Yulia Bychkova for the article “Development of Business Development Strategies” (supervisor is Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor V. D. Kuzmenkova); The second degree diploma marked Egor Logunov’s article “The Impact of a Student’s Temporary Income on the Country’s State Budget” (supervisor is Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor V. D. Kuzmenkova) and the second-year student Maria Roznova “Ecological Problems of the Economy on the Example of Moscow Region "(Supervisor - S. K. Vigdergauz); Third-year diploma was awarded to third-year students Jacov Zhushev and Alina Koryakina (article “Innovative technologies in public administration”, supervisor is associate professor I.A. Astafieva); first-year student Yulia Makarova (article “Optimal planning system in self-management”, supervisor is associate professor O. V. Borisova).

Papers of the conference participants will be published in an electronic collection; all authors will receive certificates.
