On April 18th, 2019, as part of All-Russian action “Week without turnstiles”, students visited the largest Russian enterprise for the production of tableware, sculptural and souvenir and gift items from earthenware and porcelain - Dulevo Porcelain Factory.

The action is a set of activities aimed at career guidance informing about the activities of leading enterprises, popularization of professions and specialties in demand in the region. During a visit to the production, creative workshops, the museum, live and informal communication took place with the main specialists, leading artists, designers, and designers of the plant, who introduced students to vacant jobs and discussed employment opportunities with them.

Dulevo Porcelain Factory has always maintained close ties with the Gzhel masters. It is known that it was founded in 1832 by Terenty Kuznetsov from Gzhel, who planned to start mass production of porcelain and invited the most talented and skilled countrymen to do this. Among those who at one time created the famous Dulevo style in porcelain, and those who now work at the enterprise, there are many graduates of our educational institution, including the chairman of the Dulevo Porcelain production complex, a graduate of GSU college in 1989. Products of masters of the plant were awarded numerous awards and awards. In 1937 - with Big Gold Medal at World Exhibition in Paris, in 1958 - Grand Prix at World Exhibition in Brussels. In 1976, for outstanding achievements in the development of the porcelain industry, the plant was awarded the Order of Lenin.

The tour turned out to be fascinating and useful, since it is always interesting and important to learn about production from the inside, having been there and having experienced its rich history. The students were greatly impressed by a visit to factory museum, which houses the famous Dulevo porcelain - products that the company produces from the first days to the present.
