Students of Gzhel University are laureates of international competition in Kazakhstan
The international competition "Oral Tansykbaev’s heritage in the visual arts" was organized at Tansykbaev Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts with the support of Kazakhstan Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Gzhel State University presented for this competition seven student works in the following nominations: “Landscape”, “Still Life”, “Decorative and Applied Art”. All of them are awarded.
Including the works of college students of GSU: Andrei Alisov won the Grand Prix for the landscape “Sunset”, performed under the guidance of college teacher N. V. Rutchin, Rafael Primakov was awarded the first degree diploma for “Still Life with Apples”. Olga Shataylo received a diploma of the second degree for the landscape “Sunny Day” (head - lecturer E. B. Fris), Maria Gromova - a diploma of the third degree for the sculpture “Raven”, made under the guidance of lecturer D. V. Dubrovina.
The winners of the international competition were students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design: Victoria Avdeeva was awarded a diploma of first degree for still life "Oriental Tale", Christina Platonova - a diploma of second degree for "Still Life with a samovar" (head - senior lecturer E. N. Olshanskaya), Christina Panfilova received a second degree diploma for the still life “Stained Glass with fruit”, made under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Fine skusstva and folk art culture ofnprofessor O.B. Myshlyaeva.
Participation in the competition “Oral Tansykbaev’s heritage in visual arts” allowed GSU students to present their creative work at the international level and get a decent assessment of their professional skills in painting and decorative arts.
