The international competition among students of art colleges and universities "Art Bazar - the Great Silk Road" was held in Almaty with support of the Tansykbaev Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts and Central State Museum of Kazakhstan.
The students of Art Department in GSU College presented three works from porcelain in the nomination “Decorative and Applied Art”, performed under the guidance of lecturers E. A. Buloychik and I. V. Sivova.
Tatyana Boyarkina was awarded the Grand Prix for the sculpture "Mouse"; Maria Naumova was awarded the first place for the sculpture “Mouse with Cheese”; Rafael Primakov - second place for the sculpture "Gzhel cat".
The competition was held with the aim of supporting students’ artistic creativity, improving their professional skills in decorative and applied art.
