All-Russian exhibition "Ladya. Winter fairytale-2019»
Our University took an active part in XXVII all-Russian exhibition of folk art crafts «Ladya. Winterfairy tale - 2019", organized by the Association "Folk arts and crafts of Russia" from 11th to 15th December 2019 at Moscow Expocenter.
At the opening of the exhibition Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets noted that about one hundred and fifty thousand people will visit it.
Gzhel University organized two stands that displayed works of artistic ceramics made of porcelain, majolica and chamotte made by students and teachers: sets, sets, vases, dishes, sculptures, Christmas tree toys, decorations, and much more.
Students of the Institute of fine arts and design presented the work at the all-Russian review competition "Ladya" in the nomination "Winter’s tale": set for dessert, "Elegant" Natalia Petrova (head – G. P. Moskovskaya, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation); a set of Christmas toys "Christmas story" Nadezhda Ovchinnikova (head – V. P. Sidorov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation); sculpture composition "Christmas festivities" by Alena Smirnova (head - senior lecturer O. A. Pervozvanskaya).
The competition was supported by Russian Ministry of industry and trade and Ministry of culture, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry also.
According to the results of the competition, Natalia Petrova was awarded the first place in the "Winter fairytale" category for the "Elegant" dessert set (porcelain, cobalt).
Gzhel University was awarded a diploma of the Association "Folk arts and crafts of Russia" for active participation in the exhibition.
