Students of GSU College art department took part in the Open All-Russian competition of young artists, which took place at the Ilya Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
Victoria Petrova, Anna Nazarova, Evgenia Terekhina, Anastasia Moiseeva, Arina Pashkevich, Vlad Favorskaya, Elizaveta Kuzina, Ulyana Michugina, Daria Kochetova, Ekaterina Egorova, Alina Bernikova presented three paintings and graphic works in each nomination, made in different genres and techniques , clearly reflecting the individuality of the authors, their desire for high professional excellence.
These qualities did not go unnoticed by the jury.
Third-year student (painting specialty) Vlada Favorskaya was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree in the “Portrait of a Contemporary” nomination for her creative work performed under the guidance of art department lecturer V.B. Oshchepkov.
Her groupmate Arina Pashkevich was also awarded a diploma of the I degree in the nomination “Drawing of a plaster head”. A third-degree diploma in this category was awarded to a third-year student (specialty Decorative and Applied Arts) Victoria Petrova (supervisor O. V. Lysenko).
Third-year student (specialty Painting) Anastasia Moiseyeva was awarded a diploma of the II degree in the nomination “Portrait of a Contemporary” for her creative work performed under the guidance of college lecturer V.B. Oshchepkov.
Participation in the competition allowed students of the GSU College to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of creativity, using the deep and wide thematic palette created by the organizers of the event, to compare their performance of the creative task with the results of other participants.
