On July 15th, 2020, graduates of GSU Institute of Fine Arts and Design were awarded diplomas. All of them successfully passed the exams and defended their final qualifying works.
This year, 13 students graduated, specialized in folk artistic culture, four of them received diplomas with honors. Graduation qualification works were performed on a variety of topics, they are distinguished by meaningful theoretical research, interesting methodological developments and work in the material. Further activities of the graduates of this department will be associated with management, the organization of studios, centers of arts and crafts. I would like to wish them success in their profession and the continuation of improving their skills - training in the magistracy.
The Chair of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design has trained specialists in decorative and applied arts and folk crafts and design. For the first time here, in GSU, students from El Salvador and Guatemala defended their graduation qualifications:
The defense of the final qualifying works was public. It brilliantly passed with the graduates of the Design direction, who developed and implemented interesting design projects in the material. All of them were ready to reasonably answer questions from members of the state examination commission.
Dear graduates! Student years will be remembered for interesting, large-scale events that are held only in our university. These are the traditional International Festival "Artistic Ceramics", the Interuniversity Festival of National Cultures "I live in Russia". You have successfully participated in the «Student of the Year» competition, in all-Russian competitions for young designers "Golden Line" and "Clockwork Orange" and many others.
I would like to express my gratitude to supervisors of final qualifying works for their professionalism, tact and great desire to share their practical, intellectual experience.
Congratulations on your successful graduation from the university. I wish you creative success and personal happiness. Find your place in life. Be faithful to the ideals of high art.
