This year 40 foreign students of GSU have successfully defended their final qualification works under the programs of secondary vocational and higher education.
A student from Ukraine Maria Dubinskaya graduated from GSU Institute of Fine Arts and Design, and her final qualifying work - the sculptural composition "Rural motives" was assessed excellently, a student from Kazakhstan Margarita Rybakova (master’s thesis "Research of landscape gardening ceramics on the example of decorative lamps "Contemplation"») defended well.
The commission also highly appreciated the final qualification works of students from Guatemala. They arrived in Gzhel in 2015 and admit that at first, it was not easy, but the support of lecturers and groupmates meant a lot. The Russian language was difficult, frightened by the frost - they knew it would be cold, but they could not even imagine such a thing. There were also other difficulties.
A new tradition has emerged at the university: foreign graduates have established an alley of friendship, it will decorate the territory of GSU near the new dormitory building and will become a new symbol of university.
