Gzhel State University has been cooperating with Gomel State University by Francisco Skorin (Republic of Belarus) for a long time we had an exchanging experience in linguistics and pedagogical fields.
There was a joint decade of linguistics during the 18th of October till 20th of November 2021, where the teachers from foreign languages and speech communication of GSU and the department of the theory and practice of English language from Gomel State University had lectures for partners universities in a distant format.
The dean of Gomel state University, candidate of philology Associate Professor Sazhina E. V. and the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and speech communication, professor and Candidate of pedagogical Science in GSU Ilchinskaya E.P. prepared and organized the event.
The topics of the lectures were different such as:
Stylistics is as an art in a search of the sense,
Technology of the foreign language lesson,
Specificity of the formation of phonetic skills in primary school children,
Word-formation level of analysis. Classification of words by morpheme composition, homonymy of word forms and affixes,
Homonyms of word forms and affixes etc.
After listening to the lecture, students had the opportunity to ask questions for discussion.
Our universities train teachers of the English language, so it is important to exchange experience in the field of training such specialists. Joint activities contribute to the improvement of the knowledge and skills of students that they receive in the classroom, the development of their creative abilities, independence, motivation for active cognitive activity.
