On April 3, 2024, a round table on the topic was held at Gzhel State University as part of the Science Week: Gzhel State University: 125 years in the paradigm of folk arts and crafts, dedicated to the Year of the Family in the Russian Federation and the 125th anniversary of GSU.

The event was chaired by D. S. Somov, Rector of the State University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor. The Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of Lomonosov Moscow State University, President of the Russian Psychological Society, Director of the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Y. P. Zinchenko addressed the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech, who stressed that as a result of cooperation between the State State University and the Faculty of Psychology of Lomonosov Moscow State University, a joint Masters degree program.

Senior researcher of the State State University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor V. V. Nikonov and junior researcher of the State State University I. V. Sidorov made reports on the history of the university. Rector of GSU D. S. Somov highlighted the main directions of the universitys strategy for the next ten years according to the development program approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The presentation of the monument to the Hero of Socialist Labor V. M. Loginov was made by its author, Director of the Institute of Fine Arts and Design A. A. Rozhnikov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts.

The event was also attended by the Vice-rector for Educational Activities and Youth Policy of GSU A. S. Kanyuk, Vice-rector for Scientific Activities of GSU N. V. Osipova, Advisor to the Rector of GSU G. P. Moskovskaya, Director of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Education of GSU I. R. Schneider, Deputy Director of the College of GSU I. V. Sivova, Deputy General Director of LLC Gzhel-Art workshops for tourism G. N. Golinkova, General Director of LLC Ceramics of Gzhel S. A. Akentiev, General Director of LLC Art-Modern ceramics E. O. Efimov, architect S. I. Karpukhin.

The participants of the round table discussed topical issues of the development of art and industrial education in Gzhel, areas of interaction between the university and strategic partners, outlined prospects for further work on joint projects.
