On the eve of the holiday, students took part in the All-Russian campaign "St. George Ribbon". Boys and girls dressed in military uniforms of the forties handed out ribbons to students, teachers and university staff. It created a special, reverent mood.
The action "Victory Windows" was held in the dormitories of the university. The students joined the festive window decoration with great enthusiasm.
For 9 years, the action "Blockade bread – the bitter taste of a long-awaited Victory" has been held at GSU. This year is no exception.
The GSU canteen bakes bread according to a 1942 recipe, which volunteers offered to students, teachers and staff to try.
To support the Russian military personnel, who right now, without sparing themselves, are doing everything for the sake of peaceful life and the tranquility of all those who stayed at home, GSU students took part in the All-Russian military-patriotic actions "I write to you, Hero!" and "A gift to a soldier." Students, teachers and staff have made unique souvenirs with their own hands, which will soon go "behind the ribbon" to please our heroes.
