The 41st International Festival of Childrens, Youth and Student Creativity "Blue Bird of Gzhel" is held within the framework of the year 2024 declared by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as the year of the Family.

Traditionally, GSU welcomes young artists, vocalists, musicians, dancers, theatergoers and readers. This year the Festival is held in honor of the family Institute, its motto is "Strong family – the future of Russia!".

Gzhel University fulfills its unique mission to create conditions that ensure that every citizen can realize their positive educational, social, cultural, and economic potential. The University preserves and develops art education, an original layer of traditions of the cultural heritage of the region and Russia.

The development of the art education system in the Gzhel region for more than a century is possible provided that the mentoring system from master to apprentice is organized and supported, both in the classroom, in production workshops and in industrial workshops, and in creative forums.

At the initiative of educational institutions and enterprises of the Gzhel region, the regional festival of creativity of children and youth "Blue Bird" was organized. The participants of the festival were pupils of kindergartens, students of general education, art and music schools.

In the 2000s, the festival grew from a regional to an All-Russian status, and in 2014 it was held for the first time in the international format. Today our festival is a platform for creativity of children and youth!

The competitive concert program of the Festival was opened by performances of contestants in the nominations "Artistic word", "Literary and musical composition" and "Theatrical creativity", "Choreography".

The second day of the festival was decorated with magnificent vocalists.

There were many interesting performances at the festival. Gathering art lovers under its wing, the Blue Bird of Gzheli helps young talents in striving for the heights of mastery, promotes the exchange of experience and communication.

More than 1,500 young vocalists, musicians and actors took part in the competitive concert and exhibition program. The festival is a platform for demonstrating the creativity of children and youth, contributing to the preservation and enhancement of the traditions of national cultures, the discovery of new names of talented musicians, actors, artists, and the professional development of the younger generation.
