The solemn event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge traditionally began with a long–awaited meeting of first–year students and their curators in the courtyard of the academic building: in the first half of the day - college students, in the second - students of the Institute of Fine Arts and Design and the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Education.

Then each group, together with the volunteers, went to the assembly hall, where everything was prepared for the first acquaintance and congratulations.

The first-year students, for whom a new, very important life stage began on this day, were greeted by Rector D. S. Somov. The rector of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Gzhel, Father John Marchenko, Deputy head of the Ramenskoye city district V. N. Kamenskikh, Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Ramenskoye city district Yu. A. Ermakov, director of the territorial administration "Gzhel" N. A. Shirenina, General Director of Gzhel – Art Workshops LLC (Gzhel Association) P. V. Sivov.

The University actively participates in many youth events implemented in the region, so meetings with heads of regional and municipal government bodies at the university have become a tradition.

The most active students of our university showed bright numbers, and then went together with the curators and heads to continue the acquaintance at the curatorial hours. The school year has begun!
