The University tooks an active part in the XXXIII Conference of the Association "National Art Crafts of Russia"
On April 12th, 2018, the XXXIII Conference of the Association "National Art Crafts of Russia" was held in the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the event was to discuss issues of great importance for the work of organizations of folk arts and crafts in modern conditions. The conference was attended by representatives of State Duma, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, other federal ministries and departments, executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, leaders and specialists in folk arts and crafts.
Gzhel State University at the conference was represented by G.P. Moskovskaya, the Dean of the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Art and Design, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, I.N. Belousova, Senior Specialist in Educational and Methodological Work, students of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and design Xenia Vasilieva, Zhasmin Zhalgasova, Anna Zubkova, Daria Kuznichenko, Anna Liadova, Nadezhda Ovchinnikova, who took an active part in agitation and explanatory work.
During the conference, the problems of the development of art and industrial education in places of traditional industry were considered; legislative initiatives to improve measures of state support for fisheries; additional directions of using support funds from the federal budget; actual issues of the participation of trades in state programs.
G.P. Moskovskaya gave a presentation on the theme: "The development of continuous art and industrial education in the regions of folk arts and crafts (on the example of folk art Gzhel)."
As a result of the conference, a resolution was adopted and an appeal to the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to submit proposals for a plan of events ("road map") for the preservation, revival and development of folk arts and crafts for the period up to 2019, in the draft Strategy for the development of the branch of folk arts and crafts until 2030, as well as in the Rules for granting subsidies from the federal budget to organizations of folk arts and crafts.
