On April 5th, 2018, the International Scientific Forum of Students "Youth in Science and Creativity" took place, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the first rector of Gzhel State University, Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of the USSR State Prize V.M. Loginov (1938–2009).

Over 730 schoolchildren, students and postgraduates from the University of Gzhel, as well as educational institutions of Moscow, the Moscow region, Russian cities, foreign countries - Belarus, Ghana, Kazakhstan, China, Luhansk People’s Republic, Tunisia, Uzbekistan took part in the forum.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the rector of GSU B. V. Ilkevich, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation.

Head of the Research Department of GSU, Associate Professor N.V. Osipova made a presentation on the topic: "The role of V.M. Loginov in the development of art and industrial education in Gzhel."

At the plenary session also speeches of post-graduate students, undergraduates, bachelors, devoted to topical problems of art and industry education; arts and crafts; design; service and tourism; state and municipal management; financial and economic activity were listened.

Within the framework of the forum the following events took place:

conference "Actual problems of fine, arts and crafts and design", which included sections:

– "Decorative and Applied Art" (headed by G.P. Moskovskaya, dean of GSU Faculty of Decorative and Applied Art and Design, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation);

– "Design" (head I.V. Alekseeva, head of GSU design department);

– "Art History" (head O.B. Myshlyaeva, head of the department of general professional art disciplines of GSU);

– conference "Service and Tourism in the Context of Culture" (headed by O.A. Mechkovskaya, head of the Department of Social and Cultural Activities and Tourism);

– conference "Economics and Management in a Crisis" (headed by Z.F. Baygildina, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management);

– conference "Actual problems of the humanities, social and natural sciences", which included sections:

– "Actual problems of the humanities" (headed by T.A. Dugarskaya, head of the Department of General Education);

– "Actual problems of social and natural sciences" (head R.M. Baygildin, associate professor of General Education Department);

– section "Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication" (Head E.P. Ilchinskaya, Department of Foreign Languages and Speech Communication`s head);

– conference "Pedagogy and psychology in the practice of modern education" (head I.N. Dubovitsky, head of the department of psychology and pedagogy);

– exhibition of creative works of laureates of the university internal competition "Hope of Science and Creativity". Presentations by speakers were controversial, including the research component, accompanied by presentations, videos and aroused great interest among listeners.

At the final meeting, the results of the forum were summed up, the leaders of the conferences and sections made speeches, marking the best reports.

Following the results of the forum, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific papers included in the RISC.
